Bandung (SGE) — On January 7, 2018, Sentra Global Edukasi (SGE) as an Indonesian education management consultant represented by Mr. Rudi Subiyanto as CEO & Founder and Mrs. Rizka Sungkar as Director, accompany Mr. Motohamaru Taki, as Country Manager of Japan Airlines for Indonesia have a Courtesy Visit to H.E. Mr. Anies Baswedan as the Governor of DKI Jakarta.
This meeting is based on the initiative of "The Concept of Education of Natural Disaster Prevention Education" initiated by Mr. Masaru Onishi, Chairman of Japan Airlines and under the auspices of JAL Foundation, where the concept of this will be presented at the event of "Inbound Market EXPO 2018" in Tokyo, on February 2018.
"The Concept of Natural Disaster Prevention tour" is a combination of tourism and education in disaster prevention and is aimed to attract foreign tourists to Japan especially the Tohoku city, the eastern part of Japan who affected by the earthquake disaster in 2011 and as one of the efforts undertaken to raise awareness of the prevention of natural disasters in the world.
According to Mr. Anies, the concept of tourism that promoted by JAPAN AIRLINES is a good and interesting tourism because in addition to integrating education and introduction of natural disaster prevention in surrounding communities, especially people affected by natural disasters, also have cross-territorial educational value. Which is expected to raise awareness to local communities and the world, about disaster risks and mitigation as well as to provide a benefit for the resilience of cities and communities in anticipating and facing natural disasters.
In addition, Japan Airline Foundation through Japan Airlines invites students from Asia including Indonesia and Oceania to learn more about "Disaster Education" including visiting the disaster area and museum in Tohoku, Japan.
SGE as one of the educational institutions in Indonesia, supports the program, by facilitating and bridging education institutions in Indonesia to introduce disaster prevention education.
